EINTAC Partners to Provide Safety Training for German Certification Body TÜV Rheinland

EINTAC are proud to announce that we have partnered with TÜV Rheinland to aid them in offering Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Safety Training courses to Automotive Technicians.

This collaboration began in March 2019 when TÜV Rheinland recognised the need to have a series of EHV training courses available to meet the rapidly growing demand. TÜV Rheinland is a German based organisation with branches around the world. They provide certification, approvals and training with a truly global customer base. They approached EINTAC thanks to our strong reputation and our ability to provide training courses to enable them to hit the ground running.

In the following months, TÜV Rheinland were hard at work preparing their internal systems to best harness our expertise. This included TÜV Rheinland creating the framework for the qualifications within their existing and well recognised Personal Certification (PersCert) system allowing candidates to keep using TÜV courses to build a professional profile in one place. Their hard work resulted in TÜV Rheinland supplying us with a detailed specification for their training requirements which allowed us to build out the scope of this plan. We devised two levels of courses and produced all the resources for the core of the training modules including presentation slides, assessments, and sales & marketing materials. After this was completed, we collaborated on the final practical stage of the training courses.

Throughout the process, TÜV Rheinland and EINTAC were in constant communication allowing continuous checking and monitoring of our course content. This ensured we not only produced a duo of courses that fit their specification but also that they were ready to be delivered as soon as they were completed. Knowing we had the help and support of TÜV Rheinland and their entire structure was very reassuring and gave us great confidence in the success of the project.

The practical side of the course was a more difficult challenge to organise than normal EINTAC training solutions for two key reasons. Firstly, the first group that TÜV Rheinland had organised to undertake this course were located in Zaragoza, Spain and both Spain and the UK were under severe restrictions on travel due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Secondly, none of our trainers spoke Spanish and clear delivery of the information was vitally important. Undeterred, EINTAC devised a concept for the remote delivery of both the four 4-hour long training sessions and the final practical assessment. These were all done by making use of video conferencing services and the assistance of simultaneous English to Spanish translation.

On the 10th December, the first cohort of 15 trainees carried out their practical assessments under supervision from our invigilators and the results were a resounding success. This success has paved the way for more EINTAC and TÜV Rheinland collaboration and cooperation since and going forward.

EINTAC are delighted to have been able to partner with TÜV Rheinland in this endeavour and to provide a proven proof of concept on remote delivery of EINTAC EHV Safety Training, especially under difficult circumstances.
