Celebrating the Success of the EINTAC and Essex Chambers of Commerce Networking Event
On Tuesday 10th September, EINTAC was proud to co-host a dynamic and insightful networking event with the Essex Chambers of Commerce. The event brought together professionals in the automotive sector, as well as representatives from businesses and organisations across Essex including Essex Fire & Rescue, Essex Police, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance and many more. The event, which focused on the rapidly evolving Electric and Hybrid Vehicle (EHV) sector, offered attendees an opportunity to gain valuable insights into EINTAC’s journey and the critical safety considerations when working with EHVs.
Hosted at The Plaza, Enterprise & Innovation Centre in Braintree we made sure to bring some of EINTAC’s range of products to the room. We displayed our Platinum Tool Kit full of Insulated Tools, a range of our PPE and safety equipment, and our ever-popular inflatable EV to demonstrate our Vehicle Fire Blankets.
After an introduction by Denise Rossiter, CEO of Essex Chambers, EINTAC’s Managing Director, Tim Hughes, began the presentation covering the history of EINTAC. Tim explained to the gathered attendees how EINTAC started when our sister company Total Lockout noticed a gap in the market with relation to safe working on Electric and Hybrid Vehicles in 2016. In 2019 EINTAC was founded, separating it from Total Lockout to better support our growing customer base.
Following Tim’s presentation, Ian McDonnell, EINTAC’s Technical Director, took to the podium. Ian’s presentation gave the attendees an introduction to the potential risks and dangers associated with EHVs covering the three main areas of danger: Electrocution, Fire and Ignorance. This also allowed EINTAC to do some myth busting with relation to Electric Vehicles as well as sharing how our products such as insulated tools, PPE, Vehicle Fire Blankets and Training Courses help mitigate the potential dangers. As an ever-growing number of EHVs enter the UK automotive market EINTAC feel it’s important for people to be aware of risks and what everyone, from those who work on EVs to owners of EVs can do to help mitigate them.
Following the presentations EINTAC members of staff discussed the presentation with the attendees and were hand to answer any questions. We at EINTAC were delighted to hear the positive feedback from attendees and from Essex Chambers of Commerce and are glad that so many people found our presentations to be insightful and informative.
We want to extend a huge thank you to the Essex Chambers of Commerce for partnering with us and to all who attended and contributed to the success of the event.
