Description

Class 0 Composite insulating gloves with integrated mechanical protection and arc flash rating

  • Gloves are tested and certified to EN 60903 and IEC 60903 PPE Category III (Directive 89/686/EEC) IEC 61482-1-2 ASTM F2675
  • Available in sizes 8 to 11

Natural rubber gloves with outer coating in orange/red elastomer, black interior. Gloves have reinforced mechanical protection.

Outer coating provides exceptional grip, even in humid or greasy conditions.

6 months compulsory testing. Tests should include air inflation to check for leaks – please see our pneumatic glove tester, a visual inspection while pressurized and a dielectric test in accordance with EN60903 standards of live working gloves of insulating material.

STORAGE
The gloves must be kept in their original wrapping. Do not compress them. Do not fold them. Do not store them near light or heat sources natural or artificial . Storage temperature must be between 10 and 21° C. Humidity 60+/- 10%

TRANSPORT
Transport conditions must be the same as storage conditions

PRECAUTIONS
Gloves should now be allowed unnecessarily to come in contact with turpentine, white spirit, strong acid or any corrosive products. Do not use wet gloves

USE
Inflate the gloves with air in order to detect potential faults. Carry out visual inspection. The standards EN 60903 and IEC 60903 indicate in annex E.3 (informative) that Category C should be used in ambient temperatures between -40° C and +55° C

CLEANING
With water and soft soap only . Dry at less than 65° C.

Conditioning of gloves by immersion for 24 hr in oil (liquid 102) at 70 ± 2 °C:

Mechanical resistance : > 50% of non conditioning gloves
· CATEGORY A (resistance to acid)
Conditioning of gloves by immersion for 8 hr in sulphuric acid solution (32° Be) heated at 23 ± 2 °C:

· CATEGORY Z (resistance to ozone)
Conditioning of gloves for 3 hr in a chamber at 40 ± 2 °C and in a 1 ± 0.01 mg/m3 ozone concentration

PACKING :
Each pair of gloves is packaged in an opaque sachet with a direction of use inside. On the packaging, the following information is given : class, size, categories, type of cuff, length of gloves, test date, manufacture and validation batch numbers. The sachet and instruction for use are certified as part of the PPE and must be kept with the gloves.
